I am a determined individual who prides myself on my motivation, positivity, and strong work ethic. I began dancing at 5 years old, and have explored a variety of dance styles throughout my years of training including acrobatics, jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, tap, hip hop and musical theatre. I started competing when I was 7 years old and continued until I was 18 years old. Through my years in competition, I was rewarded with countless awards, scholarships, and titles to represent my success and dedication to the sport. I began teaching dance when I was 15 years old and continue to stay involved in the teaching world. I enjoy working with children and adults of all ages and abilities, allowing each person to explore and express themselves through the sport of dance.
In addition, I am a Certified Athletic Therapist, Registered Massage Therapist, and Certified First Responder. Through my education, I have had the opportunity to work with The National Ballet of Canada, Skate Canada, both Men's and Women's Artistic Gymnastics, Wilfrid Laurier's Women's Varsity Hockey Team, as well as several injury clinics around the GTA. With this experience, I am confident in my ability to provide injury prevention and rehabilitation services to athletes and the general public. Whether you are determined to develop a personalized strengthening program, recover from an injury, or interested in musculoskeletal maintenance, I am certain I can provide services to fit your needs.
Combining my passion for dance and my educational pursuits, I was inspired to create this business incorporating both services. I am motivated to continue to explore upcoming dance trends and expand my musculoskeletal knowledge through conferences and research to anticipate success for The Dance Fam & Rehab Inc.
